L.I.N.K HUI

L.I.N.K - World Refugee Day Hui 2019

World Refugee Day 2019 is fast approaching and it is an opportune time to continue to shift the narrative surrounding former refugees in New Zealand but beyond that, it is a time to move from discourse to collaborative action.

In this regard, former refugees in Wellington in collaboration with the New Zealand Federation of Multicultural Councils are proud to launch the inaugural annual ‘Learn and Innovate with New Kiwis’ hui (LINK) to be held on 20 and 21 June 2019.

The former-refugee led initiative will be launched under the umbrella of the New Zealand Federation of Multicultural Councils and is supported by New Zealand National Refugee Youth Council

If you are from either a former refugee community or a non-refugee community and you want to celebrate and contribute to improving the lives of New Kiwis in New Zealand, and therefore New Zealand, then this is the event for you.
DATE: Starts on Thursday, 20 June, 6-8pm with a networking dinner.
Friday, 21 June, 8:30am to 4pm will be facilitated co-design hui.
