The multicultural communities of New Zealand Aotearoa have come together and contributed toward putting an 8 point proviso together to guide politicians and incoming Government. The voices of these communities have gone unheard and underrepresented in past elections and government decisions. We have put in hard mahi (work) to ensure their needs are clearly and simply articulated within the 8 points, leaving Government no excuse for oversight.

Each of the 8 points is concluded with suggested questions for communities to consider and present to their local MPs to help them make informed decisions on which candidate and party policies best tautoko (support) their needs. We strongly encourage political awareness and engagement among the multicultural communities of Aotearoa, and hope this document will foster meaningful korero (conversation) in the weeks leading up to this year's election.
